O U R   S T O R Y

My family has been dedicating our lives to the restaurant business for over 15 years.  It all started when my father, Hiep Pham, wanted to work in a restaurant because of his passion for cooking.  Eventually, he worked his way up to become the head chef at the restaurant that he was working at. 

 

After many years of learning, he knew that he wanted to open his own restaurant to share his passion for cooking with others.  He opened his first restaurant in 2002, and named it Pho Dakao.  Pho is Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of beef or chicken broth, served with rice noodles and fresh herbs.  Dakao is a famous business district right in the heart of Saigon.  

This was where he spent a majority of his youth.  He wanted to name his restaurant from something that would remind him of back home. 


I, Dang Pham, have been working along side my father since his first restaurant.  In our younger days, me and my brother would help out at the restaurant on a regular basis.  We worked as every postion imaginable.  

 

I have always been interested in the business aspect of a restaurant.  My father's passsion for cooking has inspired me continue in his foot steps.  In 2013, I left my full time job and partnered up with my father to open our second location in Framingham. 

Since the very beginiing, our focus has always been about the product.  We pride ourself in maintaining a high qualify standard for our foods  and creating a clean and comfortable atmosphere for our customers.  We realized that in order to succeed we must create a stable foundation.  Our foundation is established by focusing on one customer at a time.   

 

My family would like to thank all of the customers that have supported us over the years.  Without your support, we would not be able to continue with our passion.
